Juvenile arrested for entering automobiles, vehicle thefts in Glynn County

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga (WSAV)- A juvenile has been arrested for entering automobiles and vehicle thefts in Glynn County.

On Friday, April 19, around 9 p.m., the Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) responded to the area of Hardee Road in reports of a subject breaking into cars.


When officers arrived on the scene, they obtained a description of the suspect from a home video surveillance and relayed the description to other officers.

Shortly after, officials located and apprehended the suspect.

Criminal Investigators, who had already been investigating a large amount of entering automobiles and vehicle thefts, responded to take over the investigation.

Investigators reportedly linked the suspect to over 20 entering automobiles and vehicle thefts in areas near the Exit 36 interchange.

A 15-year-old juvenile male suspect was charged and then transported to a juvenile detention center.

No further information was released, and this is an ongoing investigation.
