TULSA, Oklahoma –
Oklahoma has agreed to pay electric vehicle startup, Canoo, $15-million in exchange for building its new manufacturing plant in Pryor.
That is the most money the state has ever given a company from the Quick Action Closing Fund. The state of Oklahoma has also agreed to buy 1,000 of Canoo’s vehicles. Construction on the factory is still in the early stages.
As a requirement of the Quick Action Closing Fund Canoo has to meet certain goals in order to keep the money.
More details about the funding can be found on Canoo’s Website
