Cybersecurity attack impacts Kansas City Scout Thursday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Scout traffic management system reported a cybersecurity attack Thursday morning.

KC Scout is working to get its systems back up and running following the attack.

The traffic cameras were not accessible Thursday morning and the full extent of the cybersecurity attack’s impact is not known at this time.

KSHB 41 News has contacted KC Scout and the Missouri Department of Transportation for additional information.
