New Delhi, April 29, 2024: Fortune favours the brave! At just the age of 21-year-old, Nirmal Nambiar took a great risk of quitting his Rs 65 lakh to build world’s first AI product Manager startup.
Hailing from Kerala and an alumnus of BITS Pilani, his vision is to empower product managers and team leaders by providing them with a cutting-edge AI solution that streamlines workflows, automates repetitive tasks, and enhances productivity.
Nirmal’s journey is marked by remarkable achievements. Despite his young age, he boasts an impressive track record, having completed seven internships and founded four startups during his time at engineering college. Notably, he made the bold decision to forgo a lucrative job offer of 65 lakhs to pursue his passionfor building transformative products for India as part of the ‘Build for Bharath’ initiative.
Prior to founding Oqlous AI, Nirmal honed his skills as a Software Engineer at Unremot, a Techstar ’21 startup that raised nearly 6 Crores. His experience working directly with the founders of Bluelearn, a company valued at 120 Crs, further fueled his drive to innovate and disrupt the industry.
In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Nirmal launched inQbator, a Mentorship Platform aimed at bridging the gap between aspiring professionals and industry experts. Inspired by his visits to remote parts of India and interactions with students from Tier 3 colleges, Nirmal identified the need for mentorship and guidance, prompting him to create a platform that facilitates knowledge exchange and skill development.
Now, with the launch of Oqlous AI, Nirmal is poised to make a profound impact on the world of product management. His previous startups, including WorkX, Quikship, and inQbator, reflect his commitment to innovation and problem-solving.
