CrowdStrike & TCS unite for AI-driven cybersecurity revolution
Global cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike has officially announced a strategic partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest software services provider, aiming to bring a revolution in enterprise cybersecurity. Alongside TCS, CrowdStrike plans to empower TCS’s extended managed detection and response (XMDR) services with the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon XDR platform.
With this collaboration, Tata Consultancy Services seeks to leverage the unified protection of the Falcon platform, integrating cloud security and next-gen SIEM. The result is expected to be a dramatic AI-powered Security Operations Centre (SOC) transformation capable of stopping breaches in their tracks.
Increased sophistication and velocity of current cyberattacks obliges organisations to invest in security protection with a specific focus on preventing breaches. With a formidable increase of cloud intrusions by 75% in the past year and breakout times now measured in minutes, managed security solutions have become an essential tool for customers to safeguard their critical assets and to execute digital transformation initiatives securely.
“As the attack surface evolves, enterprises must secure their digital core with robust cybersecurity to grow and innovate,” says Ganesa Subramanian Vaikuntam, Vice President and Global Head, Cybersecurity Business Group, TCS. Combining TCS’s global team of expert practitioners with the ubiquitous Falcon platform’s CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security and CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM is expected to give customers the protection they need to prevent breaches. Vaikuntam went on to say, “Our partnership with CrowdStrike bolsters our capabilities to offer stronger cyber defence to our customers and protect them from modern, sophisticated cyber threats.”
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, also emphasised the importance and potential of the new partnership. According to him, the Falcon platform has set a global standard and has become the AI platform of choice for businesses and their trusted delivery partners. He said, “This partnership brings CrowdStrike closer to customers, empowering TCS’s large, global footprint to modernise, innovate and standardise on the Falcon platform.”
He added, “Stopping the breach, consolidating point products and driving down costs — CrowdStrike’s collaboration with TCS exemplifies our partner-first approach to platform success, delivering the very best outcomes for customers with the partners they trust to design, deploy, and operate their cybersecurity programs.”
The AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon XDR platform was selected to provide TCS XMDR, integrating the technology and expertise necessary to halt breaches. This new partnership underscores the commitment of both companies to securing the digital landscape in the face of rapidly accelerating cyber threats.
