An overview of the WAAAM West automobile museum (photo diary)
WAAAM West in Vancouver, Washington displays the Ron Wade Collection of automobiles. Over the last 50 years, Ron has owned hundreds of vehicles. In the 1970’s he made his “grocery list” of “dream cars”. Fast forward 40 years and the list is just about complete. The museum, housed in an old automobile dealership, displays the cars in a “tight pack” which makes photography difficult. On the other hand, the volunteers are very helpful in talking about the cars and in opening doors, trunks, and hoods as needed.
WAAAM stands for the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum which is in Hood River, Oregon.
