State Department Announces International Cybersecurity Plan – The Presidential Prayer Team
The strategy calls for increased global cooperation and consensus.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced a strategy for international cybersecurity on Monday at the RSA Conference in San Francisco. The plan seeks to increase global cooperation as cyber threats have risen, particularly from China and Russia.
Cyber diplomacy efforts will include discussions at the United Nations and attempts to seek consensus on guiding principles for the use of artificial intelligence technology.
Ambassador-at-Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy Nathaniel Fick stated, “There are a lot of issues that are far from geopolitics, that are far from military applications, where the United States, China, and economies and governments around the world have ample common ground to collaborate.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Ambassador Fick to be discerning as he facilitates cybersecurity and digital policy discussions.
- For Secretary Blinken to be led by God as he collaborates with foreign ministers on global cyber initiatives.
