Brock employees asked to evaluate cybersecurity awareness training platforms – The Brock News

While Brock’s Information Security team continues to invest in new security technologies and improvements to critical tools, the University community continues to play a critical role in preventing cybersecurity incidents.

Information Security is conducting a proof of concept test with two new cybersecurity awareness training platforms and is asking a select number of faculty and staff to help evaluate them.

Selected faculty and staff have received an email inviting them to participate in a survey about the platforms. Participants will also receive training courses, evaluations and from the new platforms.

The participation and valuable feedback of faculty and staff in this proof of concept will help the Information Security team select a new cybersecurity awareness training platform that will help strengthen the University community’s cybersecurity skills and increase protection against cyberthreats.

Questions about the cybersecurity awareness training platforms proof of concept can be directed to itsecurity@brocku.ca. More information is available on the Cyber Security Awareness proof of concept website.
