UPDATE: Telecommunications disruptions – My True North Now

There are some updates regarding the ongoing work to restore services across Northwest Territories.

Northwestel is waiting for safe access to a damaged infrastructure location to address service issues in the Mackenzie Valley and Beaufort Delta areas. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time of arrival for the restoration of services. They are closely monitoring the active wildfires near critical infrastructure and want to advise the public that conditions can change quickly, and services could become impacted.
