Expert In Exposure To Tips To Improve The Quality Of Teachers In Cyber Security

JAKARTA – Kaspersky research found that teachers who practice cyber hygiene well, show greater confidence in teaching students about how to identify suspicious sources and emails.

According to the global cybersecurity company, the role of teaching is very important in terms of cybersecurity, especially if we remember the dangers of cyber threats are currently still urgent.

“It is very important for teachers to have adequate knowledge of cyber hygiene practices and understand the benefits of vigilance in cyberspace,” said Shakila Octaviano, Manager of Academic Affairs for Asia Pacific at Kaspersky.

To that end, Kaspersky recommends the following to increase cybersecurity understanding for teachers:

Involving parents effectively: In addition to teachers who teach cybersecurity concepts, it is important for parents to support and strengthen this teaching at home. This collaborative effort increases understanding, retention, and the application of safe online behavior in the long term.
