Senate unveils roadmap to foster innovation and safety with artificial intelligence

Immediate priorities include safeguarding elections from AI influence, with a Senate panel advancing bills requiring disclaimers on AI-generated political ads. Schumer plans to discuss the roadmap’s implementation with Speaker Mike Johnson.
