Doosan Robotics establishes Germany subsidiary to focus on welding, palletizing
Doosan Robotics, Korea’s largest collaborative robot supplier, established a European subsidiary in Germany to expand its overseas sales channels and respond to regional demand.
The subsidiary, located in Düsseldorf, will focus on in-demand services such as palletizing, or the arranging and stacking of goods on pallets; machine tending, or the loading a unloading of machine parts; and welding.
The branch also aims to forge ties with partners including system integration companies and dealers in major European countries including Germany, Britain, the Netherlands and Italy.
The Korean supplier also established a service center in the Netherlands to promptly respond to the installation and retrieval of collaborative robots, parts replacement and other after-sales services.
“We plan to carry out marketing and sales activities centered on the product line H-series and the upcoming P-series, which will be launched in the second half of the year, in the North American and European markets where there is a high demand for high-payload collaborative robots,” a Doosan Robotics spokesperson said in a statement. “By the end of this year, we aim to increase our sales channels to over 100 in North America and Europe and will do our best to enhance customer satisfaction by developing solutions tailored to local customer needs and building a robust service network.”
