Brook T. Smith Launchpad to host “Improving Your Side Hustle” seminar for staff
Looking to “level up” your small business? The Brook T. Smith Launchpad, Clemson’s entrepreneurship hub, will host a seminar for University staff members either currently operating a small business or interested in getting started.
This “how to” seminar will expose staff members to guidance and resources available to them through the launchpad. They will also cover business basics, like creating business plans and navigating the current business climate.
“We’re big believers in helping people be the best version of themselves,” said John Hannon, founding director of the Brook T. Smith Launchpad. “Participants will benefit from learning new entrepreneurial principles -which they can also pass on to spouses or other family members with entrepreneurial ideas.”
The seminar will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the University Facilities Center (Room UF251).
Interested staff members should RSVP for the event ahead of time, as space is limited to 60 guests.
