Entrepreneurship conference takes place in Huntington
HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) – The largest annual entrepreneurship conference in the State of West Virginia took place Tuesday in Huntington.
Each year, the conference is hosted in a different city, and the 2024 event took place at the Marshall Health Network Arena. The goal of the event is to bring together entrepreneurs from across West Virginia and beyond.
The event included keynote speakers, panel discussions, hands-on workshops and plenty of networking opportunities.
“People don’t know where to start, so activities, events like this help people understand where to go, where to start, who they can connect with to find the capital, the funding and the tools they need to start their own business,” said Ashley Shaw, core program director for Marshall Health.
The event is also a part of “Bridging Innovation Week” in Huntington, where people and organizations focus on creating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Jewel City.
