Essential Job Accountabilities:
• Establish and articulate the long-term vision and goals for the product, aligning with company objectives.
• Oversee the product from concept to end-of-life, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs and business goals.
• Responsible for purchase order placement, inventory management, external and internal customer follow-up, logistic requirements, and product master ownership.
• Collect, manage, and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases.
• Develop comprehensive business cases for product investments and secure internal approvals.
• Propose a strategic product marketing plan and budget and ensure successful execution.
• Author Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Market Requirements Documents (MRDs).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third parties to identify and establish potential partnerships.
• Serve as the recognized expert on the product, market trends, relevant technology, and competitive landscape.
• Develop core positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates from competitors.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training. Collect, analyze, and share feedback to inform product improvements and future developments.
• Lead the website, digital, and social media teams to achieve strategic objectives.
• Negotiate costing and assist in setting competitive pricing strategies.
• Monitor, report, and continuously improve product performance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market launch plans.
• Support all channel management and merchandising initiatives.
• Promote the product to sales teams through training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other tools.
• Manage development and marketing projects to ensure timely delivery against plan.
• Act as an internal and external advocate for the product.
• Deliver regular volume, revenue, and profit forecasts.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development initiatives.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Marketing Certification, or similar credentials preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings, market events, and internal meetings.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to define and implement product strategy and roadmap.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to define and implement product strategy and roadmap.
• Solid understanding of relevant technology and product-specific technical aspects.
