State entrepreneurship conference coming to Buffalo
A state business incubator and accelerator conference aimed at advancing entrepreneurship will be coming to Buffalo this week.
The Business Incubator Association of New York State will host its annual meeting, which will include a keynote address from George Chamoun, CEO of ACV Auctions, from Tuesday to Thursday at the University at Buffalo’s Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, 701 Ellicott St.
The conference will include panel discussions on topics such as funding strategies, scaling startups and the latest trends in federal tech hub awards focused on technology and innovation. Hands-on workshops also will provide knowledge that is helpful in managing incubators and accelerating business growth.
Chamoun will share his experiences and visions for the future of economic development in the state during his talk at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
