Head of Product Unit Avionics

The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions

Your role:

As head of the Product Unit you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategy for Avionics. You will be responsible for the profitability and long- and short term goals for the portfolio. The Avionics Portfolio consists of Optical sensors, Actuation (electromechanical and hydraulic) and Safety Critical Computers.

The customers are primarily Military – Gripen, Eurodrone, Pilatus etc- and supported by Civilian – Airbus A350, Boeing 747 etc.

The Avionics operation has approximately 400 employees and is mainly based in Huskvarna. The Product Unit consists of project management, product management and production.

As the PU head you will have an important role towards our customers and will participate in close cooperation in Saab programs, both to win more business and to execute efficiently.

As many parts of Saab we see a rapid growth also in this area and to manage that in a good way will be the main area to focus on, now and in the years to come
