Amsterdam’s fintech innovator Prêts raises €1M to boost access to sustainable home technologies

Amsterdam-based Prêts, a company working on accelerating energy-efficient real estate, has secured €1M in funding to make sustainable home technologies like heat pumps and solar panels more accessible.

Supported by Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, Rubio, Rockstart, and top industry angels, this funding helps Prêts launch their MVP with “premier” Dutch partners. The company’s integrated services aim to make sustainable living practical, affordable, and energy-efficient.

Smart investments for sustainable homes

According to a statement by Prêts, high upfront costs remain a barrier for many homeowners despite falling prices for sustainable technologies like heat pumps and solar panels.

Prêts aims to overcome this by providing accessible financing that ensures energy-efficient upgrades do not increase monthly energy bills, making them financially neutral and beneficial.
