Locals share passion for automobiles during ‘Cars and Coffee’ event

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local coffee shop hosted its monthly get-together where people could show off their cars on Sunday.

Rust Is Gold Coffee has been hosting “Cars and Coffee” for six years. The event brings food trucks, music, and prizes to guests at the business.

The shop’s owners said they were avid motorcycle riders before opening their store and wanted to have a location that helped bring their passion to others.

Cars and Coffee will continue to be on the second Sunday of each month through September.
