Bishkek Mayor meets prize winners of international robotics championship

AKIPRESS.COM – Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev met with the winners of the international robotics championship.

The Mayor congratulated the schoolchildren on their victory at the Krasnoyarsk 5.0 Robotics Championship, which was held on April 5-7 in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

The robotics team of the school-gymnasium No. 24 named won one prize out of five, where 570 teams took part.

The schoolchildren demonstrated to the Mayor the capabilities of mechanized robots assembled by them.

The Mayor wished success to the young roboticists, and also presented the capital school with a certificate for the purchase of an interactive panel.

The Mayor’s Office added that this is the first time that students from a municipal school are participating on such a scale.

The Mayor’s Office congratulated the schoolchildren on their victory and expressed to support them in all endeavors.
