Cybersecurity issue disrupts Findlay Automotive Group systems

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Findlay Automotive Group, which has several locations in the Las Vegas valley, said in a statement Monday that a cybersecurity issue affected some of its IT systems.

The issue appeared to restrict the company’s ability to conduct sales and service, though Findlay did say all locations are remaining open.

The company encourages anyone with a car in service at a Findlay dealership to stop by or call the service department to have staff assist you.

The company, which operates in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Washington, and Idaho, said it immediately launched an investigation into the cybersecurity issue, working with cybersecurity experts and law enforcement.

Additional details about what systems the cybersecurity issue affected were not available at the time of publication.
