MACH 2024: CNC Robotics and KUKA join forces

CNC Robotics and KUKA UK will showcase their large format robotic manufacturing applications at MACH 2024, including an affordable 6-axis 3D printing robot cell aimed at helping manufacturers in the aerospace, architectural, automotive, marine and renewables industries.

CNC Robotics, a leading integrator specialising in machining and additive robotic applications, is one of KUKAs longest standing system partners with a strategic business relationship that spans 13 years, five of which have been as Platinum System Partners. Together, the two companies will be exhibiting at MACH 2024, the UK’s largest showcase for advanced engineering and manufacturing.

CNC Robotics and KUKA UK will be on Stand 440 in Hall 6, adjacent to the automation knowledge hub.

On the stand itself, the focal point has been designed to pique curiosity and welcome visitors into a world of innovative additive manufacturing solutions. On display, will be an integrated 3D printing solution provided by CNC Robotics, including a KUKA KR 210 R2700 robot, with a payload of 210kg and reach of up to 3,000mm, and a plastic polymer 3D printing extruder, with extrusion rates up to 24kg/hour.

The 3D printing cell will be in operation throughout the show, displaying large format printing with thermoplastic composites. Demonstrating the capabilities of the robot and the cost saving benefits of 3D printing near net shape parts, visitors will understand printing speeds and ROI of the machine. Businesses involved with prototyping, mould making, autoclaving and customised parts will be especially interested.

“We are thrilled to be exhibiting at MACH 2024 and to have the opportunity to showcase our expertise and capabilities to a wider audience,” said Jason Barker, CTO of CNC Robotics. “Our advanced robotic solutions are designed to help manufacturers achieve greater efficiency and quality, while also reducing their environmental impact. We look forward to meeting with customers and partners at the show to discuss how we can help them achieve their manufacturing goals.”
