What is real? What is not? 

These questions come into play now more than ever with the rise of artificial intelligence. 

From ChatGPT bots generating paragraphs of information to nearly undetectable photo and video manipulation, the average person, often unknowingly, is subjected to products generated by artificial intelligence. 

A recent report revealed that Sports Illustrated used AI to write stories for the magazine’s website. 

What protections are in place, and what protections should be in place to make sure artificial intelligence is used appropriately?
