A glimpse of the earliest automobile test site in China-Xinhua

HAIKOU, May 10 (Xinhua) — The earliest automobile test site in China is in Qionghai of south China’s Hainan Province. Every year, hundreds of cars are transported here to be tested before hitting the market. The test site covers an area of 1,200 mu (80 hectares), with high-speed roads, exposure fields and other facilities, which can carry out various tests and evaluations such as vehicle reliability, durability, and intelligent assisted driving.
