About Town Redondo: Robotics, General Plan public comment, BCHD committees

Public comment on city’s General Plan update closes April 15

The Redondo Beach draft General Plan update is open for public comment until April 15.

The result of a seven-year effort by a 27-member General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), the document aims to update the city’s land use plans for the next 20-30 years.

The plan was last renewed in 1992. The 2024 draft focuses on land use, byway of housing, infrastructure, mobility, conservation, recreation and parks, open space and environmental hazards/natural hazards.

The draft can be found, and comments made at:  https://redondo.konveio.com/focused-general-plan-update. For questions, write to PLANredondo@redondo.org
