AI cybersecurity solutions: safeguarding against sophisticated threats

As technology evolves, artificial intelligence cybersecurity solutions become crucial for businesses and individuals to safeguard their sensitive information against sophisticated threats

Securonix Inc. is a leader in cybersecurity, offering artificial intelligence-reinforced threat detection and response solutions through its innovative platform. Now, the firm is launching three key AI capabilities to detect the malicious intent of insiders, partnering with Amazon Services Inc. for AI leveraging and introducing adaptive threat modeling, according to Nayaki Nayyar (pictured), chief executive officer of Securonix.

“We’re on a massive innovation journey; last year, we announced a partnership with Snowflake. That was a data lake that we are using under our SIEM,” Nayyar said. “This year, we are reinforcing our entire platform, the entire Securonix platform, with AI capabilities. That’s a big part of the release and the launch, and we are branding it under Securonix EON.”

Nayaki Nayyar, CEO of Securonix, talks with theCUBE about the company launched AI reinforced cyber ops.

Nayyar spoke with theCUBE Research’s Dave Vellante and Shelly Kramer at the RSA Conference, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how Securonix is launching AI reinforced cyber ops to provide faster threat detection and response. (* Disclosure below.)

Exploring the impact of AI on cybersecurity solutions

Different types of AI, such as generative AI, Precision AI, and GPT functionality, are being leveraged to detect malicious intent and proactively discover threats in the landscape. Threat detection and response should be faster with Llama 3, leveraging cloud technology for automation, speed, precision and ROI for companies, according to Nayyar.

“Three things we really razor-focus in our models on in everything that we are doing in AI, the speed at which we deliver the results, the precision with which we deliver the results, and the efficacy,” Nayyar said. “I always tell my team speed, precision and efficacy is extremely important for us to get the outcome and get the true transformation for our customers.”

Cybersecurity teams face challenges from AI-powered attacks, digital tsunamis of cloud, data and devices, while CIOs deal with resource and budget issues. Meanwhile, CISOs are held accountable for security disclosures and incident information releases, Nayyar explained.

“There is that skill shortage … the boards are also struggling because you put yourself in a board’s shoes, all this sounds extremely geeky. All they care about is can you make sure we are not attacked. But if we are, how fast can we recover so it doesn’t disrupt the business?” Nayyar said. “Those are the two big questions they have to make sure there’s no business disruption and recover as quickly as possible so that you don’t impact them.”
