Alaska Cybersecurity Summit: Anchorage Gathers to Fortify Against Threats | Homepage
Secure Alaska. That’s the theme of this year’s Alaska Cybersecurity Summit happening this week in downtown Anchorage.
Over 200 people gathered at the Egan Center to learn about how to protect themselves and their businesses against a cybersecurity threat.
“Partners here in Alaska to really work together to tackle these risks and threats that we’re seeing. I think it will be a lot of discussion about focusing back on the basics. You know, there’s a lot of things that we can do in our daily lives to be more secure. You know, we look at talk about things like strong passwords,” said CISCA Deputy Director Nitin Natarajan.
Attendees of the one-day conference also got to try their hand at virtual reality and learn about election cybersecurity efforts in the state.
