‘All AI 2024’ Event to Explore the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education
On Tuesday, April 30, Academic Affairs will host an all-day event titled “All AI 2024 — Envision Tomorrow: Exploring AI’s Role in Higher Education” in the Pollak Library from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature speakers from various institutions sharing their insights and research on expanding the use of artificial intelligence in higher education.
The morning keynote speaker will be Kyle Jensen, a professor of English and director of writing programs at Arizona State University. The afternoon keynote speaker will be Todd Taylor, an award-winning teacher and scholar in the Department of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pedagogical evangelist for Adobe.
The event is free and open to the public. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, ask questions of the speakers and participate in discussions on the future of AI in higher education.
“This is a crucial moment for Cal State Fullerton to explore AI and ensure its integration in manners that genuinely enrich and ready our students for the future while advancing our educational objectives,” said Amir Dabirian, provost and vice president for academic affairs at CSUF. “With the rapidly changing landscape, it’s important for us to equip our graduates with knowledge about AI technologies, comprehending their impacts and diverse applications across the workplace.”
