Apple expected to unveil new generative AI tools for iPhones

(CNN)– Artificial Intelligence features are on the way for iPhone users.

At Apple’s annual worldwide developers conference on Monday, June 10, the company announced plans to partner with Chat GPT maker Open AI, and unveiled its first batch of generative AI tools for its mobile operating system.

It’s powered by what the technology company calls “Apple Intelligence”. The software aims to make Siri smarter by turning the feature into an iPhone chatbot.

This could let Siri perform tasks like recalling a picture taken years ago on the device and eventually learning a user’s preferences to respond accordingly.
