Apple in talks with OpenAI to integrate AI into iPhones: Report

Apple may collaborate with OpenAI to introduce the latter’s generative AI capabilities through its operating system.

According to a report, the businesses have started debating the parameters of a possible deal and the integration of OpenAI features into Apple’s upcoming iPhone operating system, iOS 18.

This development comes roughly six weeks before Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) scheduled for June 2024.
