Aramark and Pringle Robotics are Partnering to Deploy Autonomous Cleaning Robots in Customer Facilities

Autonomous cleaning solutions like floor-scrubbing robotics aren’t zooming through every nook and cranny of business premises quite yet, but we’d be remiss if we said they weren’t being deployed at a decent pace, at the present moment. Take an article I penned last week, for instance; it covered a company by the name of Avidbots that has launched autonomous cleaners for both industrial and consumer-facing environments; from manufacturing sites and fleet warehouses to airports, malls and universities, bots are clearly (and cleanly, we might add) getting the job done.

Today, we’ve got a similar story addressing a newly struck business partnership, and it’s aimed at installing additional cleaning robots (in addition to operational software needs) at different types of customer facilities.

The parties partnering?

Aramark and Pringle Robotics.

Here’s the short-and-sweet context for each:

Aramark is a global provider of food and facility management services. Its operations touch education, healthcare and hospitality, retail, sports, culinary spaces, leisure and more. Overall, Aramark serves enterprise clients in creating experiences that drive real community and business impacts.

Pringle Robotics (no relation to Julius Pringles and his tasty chips) designs solutions that allow operators to shift low-skill, repetitive tasks to robots so human staff members are able to focus on higher-value work that’s more engaging and directly affects their businesses’ bottom lines. Serving hotels, convention centers, gyms, casinos, restaurants, museums (to name a few), Pringle Robotics builds multi-functional robots for delivery simplification, advertising and guiding guests through areas, as well “workhorse” bots that can handle heavy loads, use elevators, thoroughly clean and so on. (Their full list can be found here.)

Thus, this Aramark + Pringle Robotics partnership seems like a great fit for all involved.

“Our clients depend on us to introduce leading technologies that can help to manage their facilities in a way that ensures superior cleaning efficacy with an attractive cost structure,” said John Hanner, President and CEO of Aramark Facilities Management. “In that vein, Pringle Robotics delivers.”

Sudheer Sajja, founder and CEO of Pringle Robotics, added how the successful deployment of Pringle’s floor-cleaning bots at Aramark’s customer facilities “points the way towards truly optimized and scalable cleaning innovation.”
