ASI told about the support of youth entrepreneurship
“The state is extremely interested in youth entrepreneurship flourishing in Russia, this is one of the focuses of the development of the domestic economy,” he said.
Among the support measures, Vaino named grants that are issued by the Ministry of Economic Development to individual entrepreneurs under the age of 25 for specific promising projects.
“Their amount varies from 100 to 500 thousand rubles, and for those who work in the Arctic, it reaches one million,” the agency interlocutor noted.
Another example, he added, is the Youth Entrepreneurial Initiative Foundation, working in conjunction with the Constructorium platform, “which does not issue grants, but investments, the size of which can be up to 50 million rubles.”
Vaino also stressed that both large companies and banks work with promising young entrepreneurs. “They are supported, for example, by Tinkoff, such giants as Rosatom, Rushydro, Sibur, Severstal. All of them are actively developing youth entrepreneurship both inside and outside their structures,” he concluded.
