‘Azerbaijan has become a regional leader in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship’

Azerbaijan has become a regional leader in the field of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, John Giusti, Chief Regulatory Officer for the GSMA, said at the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2024 international conference held in Baku, Report informs.

He said that the first goal in the digital field in the Eurasian region should be to develop in this direction: “Currently, mobile networks cover 95% of the world’s population, which means about 5-6 billion people. Mobile communication has become the main stimulus for economic growth, and people everywhere has created opportunities for transformation.”
