Midvale, Utah – On the eve of relaunching its legacy Overstock.com business, Bed Bath & Beyond parent company Beyond Inc. has promoted Carlisha Robinson to chief customer officer.

In her new role, which is effective immediately, Robinson will be responsible for all product management and user experience (UX) functions across the company, overseeing Beyond Inc.’s customer file, enhancing its loyalty program, improving customer service and launching Beyond+ product and service offerings.

“Carlisha’s intensity for the customer and vendor aligns with the tempo and tenor our company must have,” said Marcus Lemonis, executive chairman of the Beyond Inc. board of directors.

With the launch of Overstock.com slated for this week and the launch of Zulily.com scheduled for late Q2, he noted, “and other significant partnership and brand launches we’re working on require the laser focus Carlisha brings to everything she touches.”

Robinson played a pivotal role in Overstock.com’s acquisition of the Bed Bath & Beyond brand last summer and the corporate transition to Beyond Inc. a few months later – as well as Beyond Inc.’s recent acquisition of the Zulily brand, the company said.

She joined the company when it was Overstock.com in 2022. Previously, Robinson held leadership roles at IBM, BMC Software, CPA Global (Innography), and Volusion. She has more than 30 years of experience in various computer software industries – including information technology (IT), intellectual property (IP) and e-commerce.

“Carlisha’s commitment to customer-centricity and innovation combined with her leadership qualities make her the ideal candidate to guide us into the future and help us improve the end-to-end customer experience,” said Chandra Holt, CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond and related brands.
