Bureau Veritas demonstrated its comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services covering all cybersecurity applications at CYBERSEC 2024.
With the rapid advancement of digital technology, the world has officially entered an era driven by innovation. The complementary application of interdisciplinary technologies paints a picture of a cybersecurity future that transcends limits.
The CYBERSEC 2024, themed Generative Future, was held at the Nangang Exhibition Center last May 14–16, 2024. Participated by over 500 cybersecurity brands, this international-level cybersecurity exhibition, now on its 10th year, showcased a multitude of solutions for information security across various industries.
One of the exhibitors is Bureau Veritas, which demonstrated its comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services covering all cybersecurity applications. At the event, the company focused on the significant cybersecurity requirements that companies in various industries need to address before launching their products. These include:
- International Cybersecurity Standards: Products must meet the requirements of international cybersecurity international standards such as IEC 62443 or ETSI EN 303 645 before they are brought to market.
- EU Regulations: Products must comply with relevant regulations such as the EU RED (Radio Equipment Directive) and CRA (Common Regulatory Framework) requirements.
- Product Security Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Does the customer’s product team have a standardized Product Security Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure that security is adequately considered throughout the development process?
- UK PSTI Regulations: Consumer IoT products of the company must comply with the requirements of the UK PSTI (Product Safety and Telecommunications Interface) regulations.
- Artificial Intelligence Risk Management: The company’s product team should fully consider artificial intelligence risk management in product development and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Cybersecurity Specifications for Energy Management Systems, Energy Storage Systems, Charging Stations, and Industrial IoT Products: Relevant products must comply with the corresponding cybersecurity specifications.
CYBERSEC 2024 included over 300 speeches, exploring key topics such as smart internet connectivity and hardware security. Special areas like the Taiwan Cybersecurity Pavilion, Cyber Talent Zone, and AIoT & Hardware Security Zone were set up to connect the Asian industry, collectively creating the largest cybersecurity event in history.
