Call of Duty Players Enraged By Treyarch’s Plan to Use Generative AI

A new job listing from the Call of Duty developer Treyarch has infuriated fans. The studio is looking for a 2D artist/animator experienced in using generative AI – all while workers from every field push back against the onslaught of the tech threatening to steal their jobs and intellectual property.

The artist Treyarch needs will “polish 2D art made by humans and generative AI tools” and should have “advanced expertise” in working with popular AI tools, like Stable Diffusion and DALL-E.
