Caseville Middle School competing in World Robotics Competition | News
HURON COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) – A small school is doing big things in the robotics space here in Mid-Michigan!
Caseville Middle School in Huron County just qualified for the Robotics World Tournament — and it’s their second time reaching this milestone.
Caseville Robotics competed at this year’s Michigan VEXIQ State Robotics Championship and their performance has earned two teams an invitation to compete in the W Worldwide VEXIQ Competition in Dallas, Texas May 1 through May 3.
This tournament will include 420 of the best teams from around the world — 50 countries will be participating.
It is the largest robotics competition in the world and students told ABC12 the team effort and their love for robotics helped them get here.
The team not only built their robots, but they also operate them and will be showing their skills at the competition in Dallas.
The school is still seeking additional financial support to help with their travels and fees.
