CHAI – Chattanooga’s Artificial Intelligence
Here on our campus – the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga – an initiative is preparing students, faculty and staff for the emerging world of artificial intelligence, from the job market to research.
The initiative is known as “Chattanooga’s Artificial Intelligence”: CH-AI or “CHAI.”
On Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th, Jules White – a Professor at Vanderbilt University, and a highly regarded expert in generative AI – will visit UTC.
He will lead two days of free, interactive training in using artificial intelligence to save time, boost productivity – and more, titled “Applied A.I.: Making the Technology Work for You.”
On Monday, April 29th, two training sessions will be held for UTC faculty and staff on campus.
On Tuesday, April 30th, at 9:30 AM, a free training session will be offered for community partners – at UTC’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Room 213, in the James R. Mapp Building on campus.
Vicki Farnsworth is Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer – and lead for the AI program – here at UTC.
