City of Norfolk seeks input on electric vehicle use and charging
NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Some Norfolk residents are charged up about electric vehicles (EV). The trend has sparked the city to take steps toward preparation for an infrastructure that supports EVs.
The city is requesting that residents and business owners take a brief survey to gauge interest in EVs and where charging stations could be located in the future.
Residents can access the survey at www.norfolk.gov/evsurvey between now and July 1.
According to the Kelley Blue Book, a record 1.2 million vehicle buyers chose to go electric in 2023.
