Northbay Health VacaValley Hospital is dealing with a systemwide disruption, leaving many patients frustrated.The turmoil was sparked by a cybersecurity incident last Monday. Marissa Marquez Daniels is one of the many patients left without any form of contact for the past two days.“I wasn’t feeling good this morning, so I tried to call them. I tried to go on their website and I couldn’t get through,” said Marquez Daniels. Due to the outage, some non-emergency and elective procedures were rescheduled. In a statement to KCRA 3 Northbay VacaValley Hospital said they are investigating and working to restore the system as soon as possible. In the meantime, they have established procedures to make sure patients have access to healthcare. What Northbay VacaValley patients need to know Urgent Care clinics are open. The emergency rooms are accepting most cases. Labor & Delivery is open.
