DuBois chosen for ‘Main Street America’s’ pilot program to enhance local entrepreneurship

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — DuBois officials and business owners are preparing for a new national pilot program the city has been selected for.

“Main Street America” officials will be in DuBois Wednesday to explain “equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

“They will be meeting with local leaders and business owners in the community, discussing this program, how it benefits the community, how it will benefit all the startup, brand new entrepreneurs that are trying to find a place within the community.”

This ecosystem will help Downtown DuBois Incorporated promote downtown merchants, help improve and revitalize the downtown area and help bring in funding opportunities that would otherwise not reach the city business owners.
