Lucknow: Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh highlighted role of youth in India’s future, emphasising need for positive thinking and advancement in every aspect of technology. “India is the youngest country in the world, with 65% of its population below 35 years of age, so future of the nation rests on shoulders of youth,” he said, on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, Singh remarked, “India has emerged as 5th largest economy globally, presenting both opportunities and challenges. It’s essential for students to be aware of these dynamics from an early stage.” He urged engineering students to be vigilant about environmental conservation, citing a 0.2-degree Celsius rise in global temperatures over the last decade.“Given the necessity in every sphere of technology, it is crucial for engineers to lead the way in development of AI and robotics,” Singh said during the concluding ceremony of the annual festival of RR Group of Institutions, in Bakshi Ka Talab.Singh felicitated Muskan Gupta, top scorer in BTech computer science, and Harsh Agnihotri, top scorer in polytechnic computer science. Anil Agrawal, chairman of the college, was also present.
