Entrepreneurs, speakers, and coaches needed as Spark Thomasville launches 2024 Entrepreneurship Training and Coaching Program | Local News
THOMASVILLE- Spark Thomasville, a leading entrepreneurial incubator in Thomasville, announces the launch of its 2024 Entrepreneurship Training and Coaching Program. Beginning Aug. 13, the 12-week initiative aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, fostering a vibrant business community in Thomasville.
The program offers the opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain essential business skills through weekly interactive in-classroom training sessions held every Tuesday evening at the Chamber of Commerce. Participants will also benefit from personalized one-on-one coaching from experienced business experts, providing guidance to navigate challenges and maximize their business potential.
Upon successful completion of the program, entrepreneurs will have access to funding opportunities through the Spark Thomasville Alumni Fund, enabling them to fuel their business growth.
“We are excited to open applications for our 2024 Entrepreneurship Training and Coaching Program,” said DeShay Williams, executive director of Spark Thomasville. “This program supports entrepreneurs and fosters a thriving business ecosystem in our community.”
In addition to entrepreneurs, Spark Thomasville is seeking speakers and coaches to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the upcoming cohort. By volunteering, these professionals have the opportunity to empower entrepreneurs and make a lasting impact on the local community.
“There is absolutely no better way to give back to your community and love your neighbors well,” said Doug Shierling, Spark head coach. “The ideal coach is someone with a passion for seeing others grow and has some business experience.”
To prepare aspiring entrepreneurs for the program, Spark Thomasville is offering a series of preparatory workshops on Tuesdays in July. These workshops will cover essential topics such as business plan development, pitch presentation skills, and building a strong support system.
