Fallout 4: Robotics Disposal Ground Guide

While exploring the vast expanse of Fallout 4, players have to visit many exciting locations, and although Robotics Disposal Ground is not the most attractive place to tour, it has something to offer you. As a dumping ground for defective eyebots, robotic brains, and other machines, this place has long lost its reason for existence and was left to the mercy of weather and time.

However, it turned out to be an advantage because its backyard had some valuable supplies and a still functioning Sentry Bot, the safety of which you have to check. Therefore, if you have visited the old Robotics Disposal Ground for the first time or are planning to do so, we are here to guide you.

As we said earlier, Robotics Disposal Ground is not the most generous or attractive place, but it still has something to offer. There are some supplies you can collect around this place, and here is where to find each one:

  • Fat Man: Search the northeast area between the broken cars.
  • Mini Nuke: You can find this behind a pile of tires east of the main gate. But this item may not spawn.
  • Power armor: Look southeast of the central building of the location near the broken Vertibird.
  • Hot Rodder #1: On a table in the central building.
  • Fusion Core: In the supply box next to the old bot.
  • Combat sentry proto MK IV holotape: You can get it by using the terminal in the central building.

In addition, there is a lone Sentry Bot on the Robotics Disposal Ground. You are unlikely to miss it, but what’s even more interesting is that almost any possible companion will tell you that this pile of iron can cause problems and that you should beware of it. At this point, you will want to activate it, and below, we will tell you how to do this and whether it is worth it.

Should You Activate the Sentry Bot at the Robotics Disposal Ground?

Sentry Bot in Fallout 4

To activate the Sentry Bot at the Robotics Disposal Ground, you only need to save the Combat Sentry proto MK IV holotape (location mentioned above) and turn it on while standing next to the Sentry Bot. Should you do this? Of course, yes. Firstly, you can control this bot and send it to clear out some locations. Alternatively, you can order it to Self-Destruct, after which you will receive 2 Fusion Cores and some other junk.

It is worth clarifying that if you send a Sentry Bot on a mission, upon return the bot will ignore the command to self-destruct. So, you must decide what you want to do with it before you activate it. If it stops working or stands still, you can revive Sentry Bot with a light melee blow to the head.
