Fuel Accelerator to Launch Global Cybersecurity Cohort

Fuel Accelerator at Startup Junkie Foundation of Bentonville has announced the launch of its second cohort of 2024, Fuel Cybersecurity.
The cohort will feature six startups from around the world and will bring together a range of solutions that aim to transform the standard of cybersecurity. The kickoff for the program is set for June 4.
The six startups that will participate in the Fuel Cybersecurity accelerator from June to August are:
- Autharva of Castro Valley, California
- Bastazo of Fayetteville
- Cyvatar of Irvine, California
- Pianat.ai of Cairo, Egypt
- ShadowScape of Boise, Idaho
- Whalemate of Buenos Aires, Argentina
Sajan Gautam will serve as the entrepreneur-in-residence for the pilot cohort of Fuel Cybersecurity. Gautam is a former cybersecurity executive turned adviser and investor. He has more than two decades of experience in various information security roles, including chief information security officer for Arvest Bank of Bentonville.
The Fuel Accelerator program, launched in 2019, has included accelerators in supply chain, artificial intelligence and health innovation. Fuel has held seven cohorts and matched more than 60 portfolio companies with enterprise partners to accelerate the adoption of technology solutions.
“In essence, our dedication to advancing cybersecurity businesses in Northwest Arkansas is not just about protecting data,” Fuel Director Darian Harris said in a press release. “It’s about fortifying the foundations of our digital community, ensuring a secure and resilient future for us all.”
