Google grants money for Greensboro students to learn about cybersecurity

12.COM A THANKS TO $1 MILLION GRANT FROM GOOGLE, UNCG WILL JOIN A NATIONWIDE POOL OF SCHOOLS ADDING CYBERSECURITY CLINICS. THAT CLINIC WILL PROVIDE HANDS ON TRAINING FOR STUDENTS WHILE HELPING PROTECT LOCAL NONPROFITS AND SMALL BUSINESSES. THE SPARTANS CYBER GUARDIAN ACADEMY WILL ALSO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS AS WELL. THESE CLINICS ARE ETHNICALLY DESIGNED FOR PREPARING STUDENTS WITH HANDS ON EXPERIENCE TEACHING THEM NOT JUST THE THEORY BEHIND CYBERSECURITY, BUT HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AT THE ORGANIZATION NATIONAL LEVEL.
