Here’s what to know about this seasonal museum in Wasatch County
WASATCH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The Antique and Classic Power Museum recently opened for the season, and is offering more events for Utahns throughout the summer.
The museum is home to a large collection of farm equipment, automobiles, and more, and is located in the town of Wallsburg, which is south of Heber City in Wasatch County.
The museum also features Americana memorabilia in addition to its collection of classic and antique automobiles.
“The Antique and Classic Power Museum is a Utah treasure,” Chairman Russell Baker said. “The Pioneer Village and 1900s Saw Mill create a great backdrop for visitors to enjoy the hundreds of classic cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles on display at the museum.”
The museum has 24 buildings, which house a variety of the museum’s antique vehicles, including more than 150 motorcycles dating back to the 1900s, according to a press release. The museum is also home to Model T and Model A Ford vehicles.
In addition to its antique and classic motor vehicle collection, the museum also offers a pioneer village with a functioning pump organ inside the village’s church. There are also log cabins from the 1800s and historical replicas of stores.
“We’ve worked especially diligently in the off-season to bring even more fun, family activities to entertain and educate folks of all ages in Wallsburg’s pristine mountain setting,” Baker said.
The museum does not have daily hours because it is run by volunteers, so visitors are encouraged to visit during the events offered throughout the season.
Tours cost $15 per person, but any visitors aged 12 and under are free.
