Hyundai Motor releases truck ad campaign produced using generative AI tools


SEOUL, June 14 (Yonhap) — Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea’s leading automaker, has produced an advertisement campaign for its truck brands using generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology, its ad agency said Friday.

Innocean Worldwide Inc., Hyundai Motor Group’s marketing and communications arm, said the three-part video series, titled “Cars That Run Forever,” was created using over 15 generative AI tools and without any on-site filming or human-produced music.

The video series showcases the high quality of Hyundai trucks, their after-sales care services and the extensive lineup. It portrays the story of Hyundai trucks that must keep running without retiring or resting, thanks to their excellent performance and service.

Innocean relied on AI technology for all aspects of the series, from character creation to writing the background music.

An official at Innocean said the company has learned the potential of AI technology through the process of creating the campaign. He added Innocean will continue to reach out to consumers with creative content that utilizes new and diverse technologies.
