JB’s Dreckmann on naming permanent CEO

Julius Baer has no specific timeline for appointing a permanent CEO, according to interim chief executive Nic Dreckmann, who took on the role in February.
Dreckmann spoke at a fireside chat at the Dubai Fintech Summit on 6 May. He succeeded former CEO Philipp Rickenbacher, who stepped down in the wake of heavy losses related to the collapse of the Signa property empire.
When asked when the appointment of a permanent CEO is expected to take place, Dreckmann said, ‘You’re talking to the wrong person.’
