Jeep reveals first EV for America

(CNN)– Jeep has revealed its first fully electric vehicle for the United States.

The Wagoneer S is an SUV that has a sleeker, more aerodynamic shape than the gas-powered Jeep Wagoneer models sold now.

And since Jeep’s trademark 7-slot grille isn’t needed to cool a gas engine, the grille will light up instead.

According to Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, the electric model Wagoneer will produce up to 600 horsepower and it will be able to accelerate to 60 miles an hour in just 3.4 seconds.
